I've started looking into Philidor's Defense lately and came across this Morphy game that, i guess is somewhat famous. Just wanted to share in case there are those of you who haven't seen it before. Morphy being Morphy never seems to get old.

Ba3 is winning too on 18? What about 18...Ba3 19 Qe3. I'm sure there's something strong after this, but i sure don't see it.

What amazes me most is how attacking players like Morphy are confident enough to sac a bunch of their pieces comfortable in the knowledge that they are still going to win!!

Morphy's calculating ability and foresight must have been tremendous.
