Nakamura and Judit Polgar undeserving of all the credit they get?

Polgar was pregnant and semi-retired when she played in the 2005 San Luis Candidates tournament, and she scored at the bottom of the table (when she was 29 - by comparison, Carlsen will be 31 this year and is playing the best chess of his life). Since then she decided to devote her time to starting a family and has never been invited back to top events in the last 15 years. Judit Polgar definitely peaked early when it comes to a chess player's development.

pay attention to the "all" they get a lot of attention true however, its well earned like Judit is the best WGM and Nakamura is #4 in the world

But why is a WGM even being compared to the better men in modern chess?   They're in wildly different leagues and an insurmountable wall is between them.

Similarly,  a lot of people and things in chess seem to be quite overhyped.

When did Polgar get demoted to WGM?

She earned the GM title (not WGM) at age 15 (and 4 months), breaking the record previously set by Fischer.

im pretty sure you can't even be demoted

I love Judit. Well, not love her, but y'all know what I mean. I've always been a major fan. She's currently commentating the Norway tournament with David Howell. She always does a superb job when she's commenting.

As for Naka, hes a great talent. But for me, the most entertaining thing has been the wrestling match with him and Eric Hansen. I'm trying to think of a meme idea using his pre fight martial arts pose (hahahaha, if it can be called that) combined with the end of match getting choked out image.  Good times.

Please elaborate. I'm not familiar with this issue.

A bit of back story based on the rumors. Naka and Hansen were playing blitz as u can see from the start of the video. There was some disagreement (something about Eric flagging Naka maybe) and supposedly Naka hit/slapped/or did something physical to Eric. So they agreed to fight over it but with no punches. That's Yasser and Fabiano chatting, mainly Yasser. Through their shoulders u can see (if the idiot taking the video would keep it on Eric and Naka) them wrestling and Naka getting choked real good at the end. There's another image of Naka standing in a rediculous karate pose or something right before they started. Why the video person didn't get a better recording we'll never know. It would've been epic. Lost a historic chance.

Well I say yes and no but more so yes than no.

Why I say yes -

1. Polgar is top female player but she scored worst in the candidates and only peaked at world #8 so why put her as an all time top player and I'm not saying that's a bad ranking but still there are others higher who get less attention.

2. Nakamura is treated like by some the second best chess player now next to Carlsen who competes with him but in Classical which to me is the most serious chess (and to Nakamura btw believe it or not) Carlsen is clearly stronger and Nakamura simply is not second to Carlsen with only one short point of his life being rated second to Carlsen and that's not really enough for me because their head to head record is very uneven in favor of Carlsen. Also Nakamura is entertaining and strong but he has some clear personality issues quite honestly.

Why I say no -

1. Polgar still did defeat all the living champions at least once, is in my opinion one of the best attacking players of all time, and she has undoubtedly had an influence on bringing new players and interest to chess so I respect that and I respect the fact that she made the candidates tournament even though she utterly failed in it.

2. Nakamura can still claim to be the guy who was right behind Carlsen once in classical, one of the best aggressive attackers in chess for certain, arguably the top online blitz player, a great rapid player, and for sure the best bullet player as of now. He's also done the best job to get people into chess and to show how fun it can be so I give him credit there.
