Magnus Carlsen is right now the classical world champion.

but what about blitz ? who is the best blitz player ?

Naroditsky is #78 in the FIDE blitz ratings, and Carlsen is #4.

Both have gone back and forth but Carlsen usually wins matches because blitz gives enough time for Carlsen's brilliancy to outsmart Naroditsky's speed.
