ive read that anand has fragile nerves and is "too nice" to be champion, but i thnk he is the better player with more experience...im rooting for anand!
Topalov-Anand, Who do you think will win?

Anyone who hasnt heard of Anand and/or Topalov arent much of a chess fan. It would be like a golf fan who has never heard of Tiger Woods.
They both are not so great that we should discuss here. I am fan of Gata Kamsky and Ivanchuk. They are the real pleasure to watch. I think Ivanchuk is the greatest player of our time.

Close match, but Anand is a bit stronger, so, in my opinion, their chances are 55-45 or 60-40 in Anand's favour.

I'm rooting for Anand... Do I want to bet money on that? No. It's gonna be close, but hopefully more exciting than the Anand-Kramnik Match. I just don't "like" this Topalov fellow, yet. I frown at him.

I think Anand is more precise and more complete -- just an incredibly dangerous player in every phase of the game... but I'm pulling for Topalov -- he's the most creative chess player of his generation. ... Is either of them a better match player -- I think it's Anand but I don't know why I think that.I think Anand has to be considered the favorite. Well I'm excited to see it, whoever wins!

Topalov's Wikipedia page states that he has been accused of cheating. Is this just an anti-Topalov person taking advantage of the 'anyone-can-edit' policy of Wikipedia?
Does anyone know more about this?

Anand was more dominant against a better player then Topolov was. Its going to be a good match, but IMO Anand is just a little more rounded of a player.

Isn't Topalov the highest ranked player?
rating means absolutely nothing. anand has more experience and in my opinion is equal if no better than topolov in tactics. Also going into this match Anand has a major advantage, time. He has had months and many games to observe topolov's style and also plan his reportoire choices. I would say that vishy will stay out of the e4 territory and play d4 as white. The reasoning for this is because this is what topalov likes if you watched the kamsky games he definately lost on time but he also stayed in the main variations of the ruy lopez berlin defense and the french defense, both a topalov familarity. and as black against e4 i would say that he will play a form of sicilian or caro kann more probably the sicilian and against d4 he'll play the queen's indian or a type of slav.
Finally i think the score is similar to kamsky-topolav with vishy having been beaten by topalov but not very often when they meet
Topalov
