What happened to Bagheri?

This is what happens to fake GM accounts.
I had a feeling he was a fake when he referred to "the extreme left file"! LOL What GM wouldnt say a or h file? 
Of course gm wouldn't say so. :-)
H file.. ah! it sounds soooo impersonal. "The extreme right file" well that's another story!
It's great that moderators are doing their job and keep the site clean.

Well, there really is a grandmaster named Amir Bagheri, age 27, of Iran who won the Dubai Open and has been rated as high as Elo 2541, and currently 2495. This still could have been him. He plays on other sites such as chesshere.com.

Perhaps not, unless he is giving absolute beginning lessons. Now if he had said extreme left or right rank, then he has no idea. There also may be a language barrier. I just don't know. He would have been the first and only GM (men's) here. We still have WGM Dembo, but she is less active and is playing professionally at other OTB tournaments and I believe another internet site where she is active and playing in an event.
Bill, lets keep it to the common sense. There wouldn't been a problem if he was the real Bagheri. BUT because this is FAKE Bagheri - site moderators removed this account. It's as simple as that.

Well, we have a fake Bobby Fischer here who says he is from iceland and uses Fischer's real birthday (the fake Bagheri was also using the same birrthdate as the real one). What I don't know is if he said he was the real one or not and was just using that as a handle, or if he did something elle to get removed. I did not look at his game.
:) yes.. This Bagheri claims to be real one.. He even had GM shining before his handle. Like Rebs NM ... but GM. This makes him real pretender. And becouse he is NOT ... site moderators did great job and removed him.
Good work... too bad he wasn't the real McCoy.

I found this at another chess-playing site.
"I thought my comments were clear, but for the record, and I say this without prejudice or malice that the person or persons who have used the names Amir Bagheri, Bagheri, Amir, GM Amir Bagheri etc, that are associated with thechesscorner.com formerly amirbagheri.freehostia.com and has logged onto online chess systems using the names mentioned above is not in my opinion a real GM, he is a fake and a fraud. Since this person is not obligated to prove he is the real GM Amir Bagheri, and he has been asked a few times by, USChess Live, WCN and refused. I am also not obligated to prove my statements, I have the information lubo has and some information I have gathered as well. As for the comments made that you know this person I accept this however, it does not change my option."

He was a fake on this site and every other one. I received this email from the real GM Bagheri:

Another chess site i used to be heavily involved with had this joker on it. He started posting all this analysis to classic games, and one by one different members started showing where he was plagiarizing chess books from other authors.
Also on that site, new accounts keep popping up saying they have "new evidence" that he was the real Amir Bagheri. Whoever this impersonator is he is one part impersonator, and one part troll. He had a lot of people at that other site convinced as well.
This case is obviously closed as Erik has done a fine job investigating the matter. In case anybody is worried about the validity of the investigation, similar investigations have been done at other sites with the same results.
What happened to GM Bagheri here on chess com? He seems to have disappeared and his topics here removed.
