I'll make a mod call here and say dobby is protected from timeout until his vacation runs out. If he wishes to move during his vacation, that benefits John, so it shouldn't be held against dobby.

I also say that John is protected from timeout during this period, too. I appreciate he should notice his notification, but it would be harsh for one person to timeout while the other is protected. If this wasn't a friendly, I'd ask the committee for their opinion, but I think we can manage this between us.
