This variant can only be played on a computer.
While players play chess, there is also a game of Tetris going on inside the 8x8 frame of the chess board. Pieces are now Tetris blocks, even though they are not affected by gravity, retain their original movement and look the same as normal pieces. Line up 8 Tetris blocks in a horizontal row and they are deleted Capturing using pieces is not allowed. The first one to delete their opponents king wins
