Event #26 Returning Knights

Whenever a knight becomes captured and the captured knight did not move during the last turn, the player that captured the knight puts the knight on any empty square on the board.

Example:

Since black did not moved his knight during his last move, white had to chose a square to put blacks knight. He chose the b1 square.

I don't think you can start an event because of the two piece capture rule.

HarshSaberTwitch

What do you mean? Can we have a director’s input on this? Thanks!

@kingsindianattack7, are you referring to this rule?

A player may not capture more than 2 pieces that are not pawns before starting an event (This is to make sure both players need to start an event).

That rule does not stop a player from starting events. Black has captured 2 non-pawn pieces, which means he needed to start an event before he was allowed to capture more.

Oh, thank you for the rule clarification.

Martin, can I have a rule clarification. With the returning knights event, If the knight gets captured and put on a square and the  captured again on the next turn without it moving again, does it still get to return.

Martin0

The knight returns again. Putting the knight on a square after capturing it does not count as a knight move.
