Event Chess (tacticspotter vs SJ_SJ)

Sort:
SJ_SJ

This is an event chess game between @SJ_SJ (black) and @tacticspotter(white).Moderator @Martin0

Rules:

This game will follow the correspondence rules posted here.

Time Control: 14 days/move

Timeout Warnings: 24 hours to make a move after a warning. Maximum 3 warnings. Refreshes every 40th move

Vacation Time: 14 days. Refreshes every 40th move.

Game starts like a normal chess game with 2 additional rules:

  1. Each player may once/game start an event during his turn before making a move (Just say "start event").
  2. A player may not capture more than 2 pieces that are not pawns before starting an event (This is to make sure both players need to start an event).

Note that each player starting one event means a game will become a combination of 2 events.

When an event starts it will be chosen randomly from over 100 events and consists of some sort of rule changes to the game. More about event chess can be read here.

Good luck!

I will be travelling until July 6 and will not be able to post events during that time. So after posting "start event" you'll have to wait until I get back.

Event #89 Same type immunity

All pieces except pawns cannot capture a piece of the same type.

Note: Rooks can not capture rooks, knights can not capture knight, bishops can not capture bishops, etc.

Since kings cannot capture each other, they are allowed to stand next to each other.

Example 1:

Queens can not capture queens, so black is not allowed to play Qxf7.

Example 2:

Bishops can not capture bishops, so black is not allowed to play Bxf6

Example 3:

Pawns can capture other pawns, so white is allowed to play exd5

Example 4:

Kings can not capture kings and are allowed to stand next to each other. Black plays Kxe7

Example 5:

Kings are allowed to stay next to each other, but can not capture each other. Black is checkmated.
