Fog of War Chess Engine

I don't think there is one in chess.com.

I don't think anyone has created a Fog of War chess engine yet. I've played some bots in FoW on other sites, but the bots I've played have access to the whole board (i.e. they're cheating).
@RoseruMajster (or anyone else) I'd be happy to offer my Top 10 human-level analysis (currently 2270 #7 in FoW) to point out mistakes in your game. Just send me your game and ask for my feedback!

@LongTermFuture -- is there an FoW engine yet? I'm not sure I understand the difference between the bots you mention and an engine. I'm wondering if it is possible to cheat at FoW at this time. (I'm an admin who is concerned about cheating in Variants). Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to develop a FoW engine and was wondering if there was a place I could get fog of war games. Lichess has gamesets of multiple variants but fog of war isn't one of them. Could anyone lmk if there is a place I could download them from on chess.com or maybe some other chess database?

rock2029, I will message you about this. There are some options.

I have a couple questions for you.

(1) Can you not download games manually? (2) Are you going to "train a neural network"? If so, don't you need very high quality games? (Not just any games).

EagleOnHigh, I do not have nearly enough people around me who play Fog of War. And the bot I am trying to train is simply going to evaluate one position well. I will then use this bot to train a bot that can make better moves. And it would be a billion times easier for me if there was a database with PGNs of games than it would be to go to individual players and download their games one by one.

Remember that you should account for moves history in particular game since you gain some knowledge with each move.
Thus you cannot properly evaluate position without knowledge of move order that leads to them.
