How do you play Crazyhouse

Crazyhouse doesn’t turn up as a variant for me. How can I find it?

Go to Play online (https://www.chess.com/play/online) and select "Custom Game". From there, you can select Crazyhouse (along with a couple other very active variants).
I just tried a game .. and nothing happened... I mean... it was just a normal game ...
I played against my brother who also never played crazyhouse before.
There were no pieces appearing on the board. I assume you have to put them there yourself when it is your turn. But how? I noticed some pieces appearing on the left of the board. Try to drag them to a square.. nothing happened. 
I know this is probably a ridiculous question... 😅...
But I would appreciate the help.

Yes, you have to drag pieces on the board. There are some restrictions on placing pieces. You can learn everything about it here:
