[JUST FOR FUN] My naming scheme for players' crazyhouse ratings (military themed)

I've been thinking of this naming scheme for over a month and it's helped me enjoy crazy house a bit more. By the way I'm only 1730 and not the best around so this is just for fun.

Without further ado,

1000 and below: army rejects

Keep training until you make the reserves.

1000-1100: recruit

You're in the ranks, but still too weak to make a meaningful impact.

1100-1300: trainee

You know some tactics and you don't blindly give up a queen, but you still place too much value on material too much and fail to make sacrifices that will ensure your victory.

 1300-1400: soldier

You're middle ground. You can push around the trainees, but when it comes to fighting other soldiers and above, it always seems like fighting tooth and nail. You try to imitate stronger players, but your tactical strategy seems to crumble when you do.

1400-1500: strong soldier

You know your way around the battle field, you can even beat stronger people under time pressure and when they make consecutive mistakes. Your tactics are still weak, but you're starting to get a feel for when to sacrifice material in exchange for position.

1500-1600: platoon leader

You're metaphorically in charge of soldiers and they report to you. If anyone of them strikes back you can usually hold your ground and make them regret challenging you. Many platoon leaders get stuck in this rating range and fail to advance until they get whooped around a lot by stronger players and learn the tactics.

1600-1700: brigader

You've earned this title because you know how to hide your king and exploit weaknesses of your opponent. But the real reason is because once the enemy king has castled you will start lining up all your pieces on that side and start putting pawns right in front of the king in an attempt to break in. And you don't let up until you do.

Brigaders are strong players and have been known to crush much stronger opponents if they successfully break in.

1700-1800: Elite

You are part of an elite. Brigaders are yours to command. You understand the tactics necessary to crush your opponent, sometimes quickly, but mostly a slow and methodical climb towards positional advantage. For some reason, Elites seem to crumble under heavy time pressure.

1800-1900: Commander

The army is yours. You can skillfully destroy your opponents and most elites. The few times you lose are because you were probably drunk. You can recover from heavy material loss (like being down 2 knights or bishops and a few pawns) like a champ.

1900-2000: Mercenary

You're hired to destroy commanders. You possess tactics to overcome losing positions. Being down heavy material loss, is usually a non issue and part of a bigger plan. You surprise opponents with queen sacrifices. You might mate with just two pawns.

2000-2100: Champion

If you've made it here, you're crazy strong. You defend the whole military structure from mercenaries. Your tactics aren't methodical to people under you. They completely take your opponents by surprise and usually ensure a crushing victory.

2100-2300: wizard

Shrouded in mystique, you make magic with the chess board. Your strength is legendary and few players can stand in your way. Few are wizards, but fewer are the opponents that can take you down.

2300+ : grand wizard

you're here because of some glitch in the matrix and you're unstoppable. Very few have seen grand wizards outside of crazy house championships and major tournaments. You usually don't compete in smaller tournaments and hide in the shadows until big events.

It's a lonely position at the top.

I don't think anyone has 3000 crazy house rating, but that does sound fitting lol
