Is a time warning appropriate? I don't even really know what it is or why it's needed.
If your opponent doesn't play a move in 3 days, you can issue a time warning. Then if he doesn't play within another 24 hours, he has forfeited the game.
However: a player has a right to see a board which is at most 1-ply old before he must move. It's been 2 days since I showed the board, so one more day was allowed before a warning was posted.
