Question about spell chess

Once it is the month august will they still have spell chess or will they get rid of it?

we been talkin bout it in variants admin server and usually when we introduce a new variant it doesn't just disappear (with the exception of automate but we had our reasons)

I also have some questions about Spell Chess:

Is there a checking rule, or can you expose your King to capture (and then loose by it being captured)?

What about castling? Can you castle through check? In particular through a check that would require a jump spell to reach the square the King moves through?

I was enjoying playing spellchess, but I cant find where to join it again.
