I guess I'm ready when you are Martin, we should probably start soon since the next opponent awaits. Are you happy to impose similar time controls to my current game with evert? We've agreed to issue no time warnings over Christmas and NY, while making moves if we have time. It simply removes time pressure for both players without using an outright vacation. If you prefer me to just take vacation that's fine, but then I won't move at all for a week. I figure you'll probably appreciate the flexibility too.

The reason tug is white is to get an even color distribution (he has had 2 black games, 0 white, while I've had both white and black).

In evert against skilz, both players have the same distribution of white and black games, so the player from the top (from the winners bracket) gets white.

@captaintugwash, I'm happy to play soon and with the same rules as your game with @evert823. How about starting tomorrow on Tuesday?

I don't intend to! I don't think it's a horrible opening move, but it's unwise to try out such ideas against Martin.
