hi I played this variant with a lot with a lot of players and I decided to get permission to be rated
Timing: 1/2 bullet
The timing for 1/2 was a good choice as there's not a lot of thinking required for a move if the main piece is a knight.
The promotion piece is a general which was quite interesting as it reminds me of how a knight gets promoted to higher position. I see that it's quite difficult to checkmate without a general so it's an important piece.

I think the variant should be called Castle Defence. Give ideas of a better name in the comments.
