Demo # 6
Now it starts getting difficult because you have to figure out a plan.
I usually focus on the pawns and try to make moves that keep my position as flexible as possible.
Looking at the white pawns I would not deploy the last white pawn on the sideboard for a number of reasons.
First it costs a move so why waste a move on a corner pawn early in the game, the central files are more important.
Second white can not transfer the king to g1 when white is fully deployed so keeping that pawn in reserve may be a good idea as white can flush the entire game queue to the game board and still have the option to perform a king transfer.
And third white could move the knight on g1, king transfer to g1, double drop a rook to a1 and then play a4 to start rolling the white pawns towards the black king.
I have been looking at this position for a while and I have noticed a hack that a player can use to deploy a rook or queen to an open file.
I will first just ignore the hack and explain the central pawn advances.
I will then explain the slight change to one rule so that this hack can not be used.
Try to figure out what the hack is and the rule change that is required to stop the hack.
