That looks like Capablanca Chess. He played some games of it too. I wonder who made the board with the extra pieces for him.
Invented in the 1920s.
Capablanca's Chess can always be won by white since there is a well known flaw in the setup. Think about it. If a genius like Capablanca couldn't convince others to adopt his recommendation there HAD to be something wrong with it.
And 80 square chess was invented in 1617 by Pietro Carrera. Changed in 1874 by Henry Bird. Then came Capablanca (1924) and Trice (2000).
Please Mr Trice, show as how white always wins in capablanca chess exploiting the pawn weakness.
I’ll learn something new.
Don’t show us the usual links showing the diagrams and the weaknesses. We all know them.
thanks
10000$ for you if you are able to show us something irrefutable.
by the way i doubt you will answer with precision to this request. You will always point as usual to that link of gothicchess website etc. you never showed us how far you digged in capablanca chess to prove the unprovable.

The computer technique is called Dropout Expansion invented by Thomas Linke in 2002. It took months to run on many computers before it backed up a winning score for white. But, after reviewing the data, it was possible to discern a playing strategy to win.
I am pretty sure you will agree Stockfish is one of the strongest chess playing machines on the planet. A modified version of it plays Capablanca's Chess, and I beat it. Not once. But 6 times.

If that's not good enough proof for you, state what is.
Stockfish is one of the best, but not Fairy Stockfish.
The proof is give us at least a few lines of forced moves or promising moves where white wins or forces the win.
The shown game in the previous link is a proof that Stockfish hunted for a pawn advantage and you exploited the position in an excellent way because you got a huge development advance and the black king was not protected after long castle. Stockfish still was in hunt for tactics and never truly calculated the position or understood it well.
Good game though but i don't see any "proof" of white winning it all.
And by the way this is just a single game.

I thought 30. QxN on b6 was a great move. It releases the Chancellor to devastate black's queenside. It took many moves to recover the material and is the type of move that confuses programs.

ok you can talk about trice chess
but don't make the topic only of it plz
I made the topic...
They're not talking about Trice's Chess. They're talking about Capablanca's Chess.
