Will the makers ever add more variants to the mobile app?

title says it all. The chess.com website is very frustrating to use on phones, so i was wondering what the chances are of getting the variants on mobile?

I think there must be fairly substantial reasons why they don't do it. I have always thought it was because the screen real estate was not large enough on most phones to handle multiplayer games.
