I'll keep you in mind if and when we start another game. Would you like to play this game specifically, or some other variant chess game? There's also normal bulldog chess, and I wouldn't mind playing that too (but might need to wait a few days before I start another game).happy.png

Well, I hope no one is disappointed if I end the game with a mate in 1.

Post-game analysis: How much do you think the game would have changed if communicating by PM was allowed? Would that have ruined the game, or made it better?

Probably it would have taken longer. But I think that's one of the rule aspects that would have had a big difference in the game. hitthepin and I could have warned each other about possible traps (for example). Any thoughts?

Yes, I think we can give PMing a try.

I think a game with PM's would require a slower time control to allow more messages going back and forth between you and your partner. And personally I would be really frustrated if my partner ever makes a move without asking for my input first (discussing EVERY move is really important).

Allowing PM's would be a different game. It is more similar to 4 player chess since you are allowed to chat with your partner there. One major difference though is that here you would get a lot more time to discuss with your partner.

This said, I think it can be really fun to play with PM's, but right now if PM's are allowed I would rather not play since it would be too time consuming for me. I'd gladly watch a game without playing myself though.

Right now there's no other game planned. Unfortunately I don't think I have time to play again. If you'd like you can leave a comment at the end of this thread and ask if anyone wants to play the normal 2-player bulldog.happy.png

Well where, or how can I be going to play it??!

Avatar of StanShue

Please don't get mad and crazy that I'm not so good at it since as you maybe know that I never have played it before.

Is it possible to play this in teams??!

Avatar of StanShue

Because I'm better If I play four player (maybe anything) chess kind.

How can people actually put stuff on the forums??!

What do you mean? If you want to post your own custom chess diagram (picture) then you use this. That's what we do for custom variants that aren't supported by chess.com.

Um is this checkmate? Shouldn't you wait for green and red to move first? Fortunately, green only needs to capture the bishop on o8 to win, but if he doesnt, then vick's bishop can intervene. We shouldn't *assume* green can see the forced win, should we?
