A new blindfold xiangqi simul record

Jiang Chuan set another Guinness Record in Blindfold Xiangqi Simul on June 19, 2017. Beating his previous records of 1 against 20 and 1 against 22, he took the challenge of one against 26 and succeeded with a score of 21 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. The venue of the event is Longwanqun National Forest Park in the province of Jilin. Jiang had the red pieces in each game and he employed 6 different first moves. After 15 hours, he achieved 18 wins and 1 draw, reaching the par ( 70% ). After another one hour and 25 minutes, the feat was completed. On the national players’ list, Jiang is currently ranked eleventh. Liu Da Hua first set a blindfold simul record in 1995 against 19 players, earning the nickname of “ Computer of the Orient." Liu is currently ranked 76^th on the national players’ list.
