Sorry for the medal ceremony being one-week late.
This was an amazing game. @Martin0 has won and is now a four-time defending World Champion. @Junebug444 (formerly "JunyJunebug") is considered one of the premier players in bulldog, and was the first World Champion, but lost in a title game to Martin October of last year. Martin0 has defended his title against challengers @vickalan (me😥), @JohnHS, @evert823, and now Junebug444 again.

The recently formed Bulldog Chess Federation has announced a candidate game to decide the next challenger for the Bulldog crown. 
@Captaintugwash will play against @HorribleTomato. The winner will be eligible to challenge Martin0 for the crown.

Only just got round to checking this game out properly. Yep, Martin will be a tough nut to crack, that's if if I can get past junebug. Hard to see how I'm doing any better than june here, aside from not losing the exchange with RxN, instead Wd6 is better... gets the witch out of the way of the knight, while also making the knight transparent, meaning the rook can still capture the bishop if white grabs the knight. Not sure if I'd have avoided the forced piece for two pawns sac, depends how well I was analysing I guess. I can miss that, I can also find it in time, depending how good a day I'm having.
On this performance, I think I have a small edge over junebug, but martin has the edge over me.
We'll soon see if I'm right.
