18...Gb6 19.Bd4 Qd2 20.Ne2 was my intention. The point with the pawn sacrifice was to open up a file for my rook and to prevent exchanging light squared bishops. Black will also need to be careful, so his queen avoids getting trapped while also being tied to protect the bishop.
