Uh-oh

Unfortunately, returning the knight to i7 was a blunder, you had to give up the pawn on h5. I suspect the mistake which caused this problem was Re7, it allowed my pawn to advance with tempo.

ResignGood game. I'm down a knight to a rook and two pawns, one of which is already a passed pawn, and very far away from my king... I liked the Cat and Mouse part a lot. Rematch?

captaintugwash

Yes this is a lost cause for you, I simply advance the j-pawn.

Certainly I would be happy to play a rematch, would you be happy to tweak the cat to allow it to jump as a knight as well as its current ability? I think it will make it a much more active piece without it being too brutal in strength.

Also you will be white. I'll set up a thread later.

Oh and good game indeed, thank you for playing me.

I've assumed you're happy with the new cat moves, if not and you want to play the same as this game, then let me know before you make your opening move.
