Bulldog Chess with Witch (hitthepin - JohnHS)


Guards=4/5 basically a king in the endgame, I think can mate w/ king really defensive, can defend mighty attacks
Witch=6/7 since she can tactically improve development and can fuel a strong attack after making pawns transparent

...of course the witch's power is diminished in the endgame when there are less pieces to make transparent

I would put a guard at about three (which is how J. Silman evaluates kings) and a witch at maaaybe four, though it's very malleable based on the position.
