@Rychessmaster1, Um no. That is not how you get to challenge WC. The bulldog chess federation decides. You will be notified if you are selected for the candidates tournament.
@ScootaChess, glad to have you aboard! This tournament will most likely be using the "Witch" as the extra piece so you may want to go over some games using that piece to familiarize yourself with how it works. If not, then chances are we will be using the "Spirit"( a newer addition to bulldog chess. Invented by @HorribleTomato) so check that one out too!

Oh and @Vickalan does the brackets(he is good at that and everyone is already used to how he does it) and besides, you need a puter to do it. AND it will start once the super dog tournament is FINISHED.

The time control for this tournament is going to be 3 days with a 24 hour warning.(see the "correspondence chess rules" thread.)(i hope that is what it is called!)
*unclear* we may be using the witch for this tournament since that is the most popular piece currently. If not than we will be using the "Spirit".
Anyone can join!
If you have not played any games yet and want to know your rating, it will be 1200. That is the starting point here and you can get no lower than that. Once you win a game it will change.
The winner of this tournament (the big dog tournament) will not be eligible to challenge the bulldog chess champion. However, you may be sent a request to join the candidate tournament. Whoever wins that tourney may challenge the bulldog chess champion.
This will not be a capture the flag tournament.
This tournament will start when these requirements are met;
1...There are al least 16 players in the tournament.
2...The super dog tournament is COMPLETELY FINISHED.
@Vickalan will be in charge of the bracket updates.
Anything else? Hmmm............................I guess I can give you guys another update on the tournament entries.
