I hate to be strict here, but I would rather play using the strict rules of "No takebacks". (one was already enforced at post #138)

At post #160, HorribleTomato posted "H(6,4)".

This is ambiguous because both Black hawks can jump there.

@HorribleTomato needs to specify which hawk is being moved, either:
H(8,6)-H(6,4)
or
H(4,4)-H(6,4)

But then at post #162, Tomato moves H(8,6)-(8,4), which is a completelly different move.

@aidanB1, would you like to enforce the "No take-back", or let the game stand (White resigns). Either way is OK with me. But I don't want to let the changed move stand without mentioning it.meh.png

Well since my hawk move wasn’t specific enough, there is no real move and therefore H(8,4) stands

Here is my judgement:

TAKEBACKS ARE EVIL, NO TAKEBACKS!

aidanB1

sorry, tomato

You’re back in- not for long though

The one on the 8 file. Predicting a rook move
HorribleTomato

H(8 file)--(6,4) to be exact conditional moves if R(4,1) H(7,1)+ if R(2,1) then R(3,8) Drop the guard or suffer the consequences.

Thank you for showing me what you are threatening from a rook move! I like Hawks better than rooks anyway.

Actually, rooks are worth more than hawks in the endgame according to current theory.
