I think these games end in draws because of the guards, and the number of pieces that it takes to get to checkmate.

I don't see any reason there should be more draws than normal chess. But I think it's possible some games can last a long time. Considering that some well-played chess games go to 100 moves, I would not be surprised if two matched players in infinite chess would have games that go for 200 moves or more.shock.png
