Dummy Chess

Same as standard chess, except that you can drop dummies on empty squares instead of moving a piece. There are a few restrictions, though:

  1. You cannot place a dummy until you have moved your queen, your king, and your rook (castling counts as moving your king and your rook).
  2. You cannot place a dummy next to a king.
  3. You cannot place a dummy to get out of check or checkmate.
  4. You cannot move a dummy.

What is a dummy?

ShiViChess

A dummy is basically a piece that does nothing except stay on one square and get in the way of other pieces.
