I'm playing another Harpy game here: https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess960-chess-variants/bulldog-chess-with-harpy-fly-eagles-fly-vs-johnhs?page=1#last_comment

Rules inquiry...

Is the Harpy allowed to "carry" more than one chess unit at a time?

My Harpy is currently holding a rook which must be dropped (if I choose to) no later than move 26.

May  the harpy on move 25 capture an additional chess unit?

I don't recall seeing this situation addressed --sorry if I missed it.

JohnHS

I think this was addressed before.  A harpy may only carry one piece at a time.

Also, what is with your userpic?  Every time I look, it's something different.  grin.png

Thanks for the rules clarification.

Userpic flux? Turn and face the strange ch ch changes...

Resigns.  Second queen I've lost in the same day!

BISHOP_e3

Accepted and Thank you. One last request--could you post move 26?

BISHOP_e3

I think this is an interesting and entertaining chess variation. Thanks for inviting me JohnHS.

It’s now actually become a bulldog variant!
JohnHS

Yep.  Good game, Bishop!  Thanks for the game!

Here is the final position ...

I used the Musketeer Chess Painting tools >>>

https://musketeerchess.net/tools/boardpainter/

to make the diagram.

I did not have your "Harpy" piece so I used what was available.

I didn't use the "Hawk" >>>

because it is used in Seirawan Chess.
