I wouldn't deny that if [American] football teams were told "You can have one and only one offensive lineup so decide what its going to be once and for all that will be it", I'm sure they would look at it very carefully and decide what is the optimal offensive lineup (spread, split backfield, wishbone, whatever). (And furthermore imagine they were told that the lineup must be symetrical - no unbalanced lines,  3 WR's to one side etc.)

But that wouldn't mean its preferable to have one and only one lineup.

There is one; it's called the Double Wing formation.  It's used in youth level up to high school.  As a coach, I like it because it's effective, very hard to stop, easy to teach, and fun for the kids.

Every time flags quotes or "creatively" quotes something...I can't help but reassemble the quote to say something rude.  But I'm a nice girl so I'll behave like one.

I have to admit, I'm wondering when I will stop seeing my photo doppelganger everywhere I post.

eberwulf.  that's okay...I think tennis, soccer, ice skating, luge, or any other sport would do fine.

Bringing the Bard into it against an English teacher!  Uh oh.

He just finished misquoting the phrase about a rose by any other "name".  Wouldn't an English teacher whose read the text enough times at least know that this phrasing is a common error?  Anyway, I don't want to make this ugly...I'd be satisfied if he'd just find a new object of "affection".

Misquoting Willie is like the Blues.  It's a living, evoloving, good time.  How many, when quoting Hamlet say, "Alas poor Yorick, I new him well." or instead of "well", "Horatio."

Also:  "methinks he dost protest too much."

Willie wrote, "The Lady doth protest too much, methinks."  It is almost always miquoted as, "Methinks the lady doth protest too much."  I, for one, like the misquote better.

Kind of the same way I like Lightnin' Hopkins version of "Church Bell" better than Blind Lemon Jefferson's.

A quote by any other name... wait I think I messed up.

Fine sentiments indeed, however I fear that ilikeflags has settled in for the long haul. Pesky English teachers, always looking for an audience.

Ya just wait until I get my bachelors bud.

960 is the real deal, no tricks, no nothing.  The ultimate game. Surprise shouldn't play a role in a game of chess.  Your attack start with identify the weakness in the random setup, and then to build your attack on that. To open the game, as if you play a normal game of chess, would be a blunder, because the setup had changed.  To act surprise if you loose is just stupid. Thats why not many play the game, they like wasting time on book moves, and then fall on their nose whenever the opening repertoire had end.  Many do win, because they simply have a better opening, but 960 sort the real players from the rest, ask mr fisher.

Why did they get so excited about Olive Oyl? (she had no tits at all).

Perhaps it was the shade of her lipstick.

Wasn't she the sexiest dame in the Popeye universe?

BTW, I believe Swee'pea was something like a found baby so her figure never got "ruint."
