Event Chess Game (Bad_Dobby_Fischer - rychessmaster1) #2

Event #105 Direction Limited Queens
First the player that started the event choose one of either:
Forward, Backward, Diagonal Forward, Diagonal Backward, Sideways
Then the other player chooses a different option.
Queens can not move in the directions chosen.
Example 1:
The chosen directions are forward and diagonal backward. Queens can not move in those directions.
Example 2:
The chosen directions are backwards and diagonal backwards. Queens can not move in those directions.

@rychessmaster1 will choose a direction first. Then @Bad_Dobby_Fischer chooses a different direction. Then @rychessmaster1 makes his move and the game continues.
But if sideways includes right AND left, and diagonal backwards and diagonal forwards includes both diagonal forward/backward right AND left, then shouldn't the fourth direction also have two directions? (Forward AND backward.) Or, maybe there should be a right, left, diagonal forward right, etc.

Nah, it is fine with some choices being 1 direction and others being 2. Some people (like me) would get confused with keeping track of right and left. "Whites left is Blacks right? What sorcery is this?"

but...Whites up is Blacks down? What sorcery is this?
i'm still thinking about my direction.
backward would make queens bishops, and diagonal forward would make queens useless
but that might be fun...

Backwards would still allow queens to move sideways, so queens would still be a bit better than bishops. You are right about diagonal forward though
This is an event chess game between @Bad_Dobby_Fischer and @rychessmaster1.
Game rules:
Game starts like a normal chess game with 2 additional rules:
Note that each player starting one event means a game will become a combination of 2 events.
Other rules of this game are identical with rules of classical chess.
When an event starts it will be chosen randomly from over 100 events and consists of some sort of rule changes to the game. More about event chess can be read here.
@Bad_Dobby_Fischer will play white. Good luck!
