Event Chess Game (gyrados06 - Bad_Dobby_Fischer) #3

Event #29 Directional Knights
Both players adjust which direction their knights are facing. First the player that started the event chooses the directions of his knights, then the other player chooses the directions of his knights. The directions must be facing either a line or diagonal and a player may choose different directions among their knights.
Knights lose their initial movement and can move straight forward towards the diagonal or line they are facing. They can not jump over pieces when moving that way. They can also move like a normal knight in the opposite direction they are facing (any of the 2 squares that are adjacent to the diagonal or line in the opposite direction they are facing). As a move a knight can stand still and change direction. Knights can also change direction any time they move. The direction of the knights are part of the 3-fold repetition rule.
Special note: Normally knights would be able to move however far they want when moving along a line or diagonal. But with the fat pieces event active, they are only able to move a maximum of 2 squares. The examples below does not take the fat pieces event into account.
The image above shows the different directions that a knight can face.
