@rychessmaster1, I would not mind to start an event chess game with you around January 11.

@togepi2468, I've played over 20 chess variant games on the forums and I have all victories so far. Maybe you should want to play event chess with someone closer to your level?

Bad_Dobby_Fischer

Sometime we can have a rematch sure, but I don't want to start any new games right now. When my game with ry has started both events, then I should be ready for a new game.

I agree that I was winning on move 9. 8...Be7 was a blunder. In the opening I wanted to try to play in some way to make use of the roar event. Putting a knight on c3 and play the typical theory is probably fine, but I figured that a roar on c3 will almost never be good for me, so I wanted to play in a way to either get a roar on b1 (to get an extra pawn in the center and maybe develop a bishop on b2) or to develop the knight to d2 instead (when a roar might get useful, such as my threat this game). Another idea with the knight on d2 is to play f3 and roar my light squared bishop from e2 to a dark squared bishop on f2.

Delaying Nc3 also might give me the option to play c4 at some point.

8...d6 looks fine. Maybe I'd play 9.f3 or 9.Nxc6 to prevent a roar on c6 giving me a doubled pawn.
