I don't think castling was allowed because you can't castle over a checked square.

Actually I think Martin0 is right. Black's queen is transparent, the very reason why the king can go over the queen. But that square is also attacked by White.

In bulldog it's our goal for all games to be played correctly, even if it means "re-winding" a game (with few exceptions). In the event there is a protest, the bulldog federation can make a ruling, and I'll sit out the conversation.
