Helpmate in 5 - pls help :-)

The best I can do is in 6 (White) moves...
1...Kh7 2.Ne4 e5 3.Nxd6 e4 4.Nxf7 e3 5.Ng5+ Kh8 6.f7 e2 7.Be5#
or..
1...Kh7 2.Bc1 bxc1=B 3.Nd5 Bh6 4.Ne7 Bg7 5.fxg7 f6 6.g8=Q+ Kh6 7.Qg6#
It's difficult to even see final mate positions never mind get the pieces into position in the number of moves allowed!

Well done rooperi but what is 'problemiste' ?
I was closer than I realised (post #2) with the second solution...
1...Kh7 2.Bc1 bxc1=B 3.Nd5 Bh6 4.Ne7 Bg7 5.fxg7 f6 6.g8=Q+ Kh6 7.Qg6#
instead of...
1... Kh7 2. Bc1 bxc1=B 3. Nd5 Rg2 4. Ne7 Rg7 5. fxg7 Bh6 6. g8=Q#
Ingenious puzzle!

Problemiste is problem software, with a huge collection of puzzles.
Can do mate in x, selfmate, helpmate etc.
The free version has some limitations, but still good functionality
[edit] if you compose your own, it's an essential tool looking for flaws, duals etc.

Thanks rooperi , I havn't come across that before - I might give it a try. One of my ambitions in chess is to compose chess problems of my own but the really hard type.
