Can someone please explain to me, in a very clear way, the rules of castling (or provide a good link that explains it)?

Here's some discussion:

Well they should make it easier, because everytime I have tried to castle in a match it doesn't let me. So when I do try to drag my king to his side or to queen's rook it doesn't do it. They need to make it easier to as pushing an options button or actually letting you castle when you move your king over to your unmoved rooks and then doing it for you.
