Where do we go to play in vote chess960? I only see normal chess and one game starts in 30 hours but it's normal chess, also do players use chess engines?

Sorry mayapira, I am not a big help. Look at the initial page of any group and normally they well tell you if they play VOTE Chess. On the botton right will be their stats to check. Normally there is a button on the right that states "new vote chess". Then you have to look further to see if any games are 960. The stats should tell you that too. Here is one group TOTAL 960.
I am a little surprised. In our last 15 games, all as black, 5 went ZERO moves, another 4 went 4 or less moves, and 2 went 5, 7 moves. I DO NOT understand why this happens. They all were 960 and 1 move per day. Clearly marked as 960. Does any one have a good idea how to help ?
It may be that being White is part of the problem. There are 18 to 21 possible opening moves as white. Not getting your way on the first move may make you want to quite. A lot of times the first move is d4 or e4. Let your group know what your intended first move is most likely going to be.
In our last 20 , 960 Vote Chess games we have won 20. Lucky ! Played Black every game. BUT we won our last 4 games with a total of only 10 moves for all 4 games. The other side had about 8,4,4,3 players each game. The point is, if you are an admin of such a game, Please be sure you have members that really want to play 960 and vote. Otherwise, it seems that members drop out of the game quickly. Maybe because many members really do not like 960 or that they can not get their votes to count, Please try !!!
