The top name in each pair plays White. It was chosen mostly randomly, but if I could remember a recent game then I switched player taking White. You've been playing White as the defending Champion, so here you start as Black.
(If anyone sees any reason I should change anything just leave a note).
Also, if any players play a new game invention, then they will need to make the new rules on their own (like your game which might have a time thief).
Also, everyone should know that new game inventions aren't allowed in Round-2 unless they have already been played in Round-1.

I chose Luke_Hands to play White (random choice). I added the rules to your game (here). Make sure to read carefully about the Bulldog because this piece is not used often - even though he is the game's namesake!
It's a pawn-like piece and his notation is "D" for Dog (B is confused with bishop). Have fun!

I'm not sure how many active players there are, but we just need three more to fill the bracket. It will be some time before the first six games are finished so there's plenty of time. (in the worst case we can let some players enter the bracket at two places, but we won't do this except as a last resort).

My game with @HorribleTomato will be a little later because we have to finish the rules for adding the hunter. Other games will also start a little later.
Just some info about the hunter: The rules aren't complete, capture space may be increased based on test games
The hunter is about 4/4.5 pts
It is designed to do damage in the endgame and apply slight pressure in the middle game. Having the hunter is like a long-term piece advantage.

JohnHS: I think I saw your request somewhere, but missed it. I added your name. We can still make adjustments and additions up to the point where each game starts.
Luke_Hands and aidanB1: that's cool you'll play bulldog classic - it hasn't been played in a while. Should be fun to watch. I'll start that thread tomorrow, and then begin each new game every 3-4 days or so.
I also added Critica7 based on request from another thread.
Still have slots for 3 more players - gonna be fun!
