I posted two eclipse pics at the end of (this thread). Traffic jam yesterday after the eclipse, and still have 2-3 days of travelling. I hope to get back to my normal chess games soon.

Mythic chess is the new name of "Clash of Mythic Titans". It's actually quite an old change. I was talking about the game with two dwarfs and two zombies, remember?
I know. That's what i wanted. And evert823 says the dwarf is worth 15!
But I'm not able to create the board, I'm not sure if vickalan has shared the graphics for the Zombie. I don't have a zombie on a white square.

Sorry to the players who are in games with me (McGoohan, SuperSam1, and IvanKosintsev). I've been doing my best to keep other tournament games updated, but haven't moved in my own games for several days. I hope to be home soon, and catch-up in them soon. And I want to play friedmelon too, to make sure his three-game winning streak comes to an end!
can I play a game, any varient with an opponent who will teach me the rules before the game. Maybe I could play with everet823 if he is available?
AndyAwesome1, I suggest that we play a game with these pieces:
- Guard: king-like movement but not a king, it can be captured
- Dwarf king-like movement but you can only capture it if two of your pieces attack it (very aggressive!)
- A piece moving like bishop or knight (called hawk or cardinal or archbishop or princess)
- A piece moving like rook or knight (called elephant or marshal or chansellor or empress)
These pieces have the easiest rules.

fyi (to players in tournaments, and my other formidable opponents):
Early tomorrow I will be travelling to see the eclipse. Although I started planning this two weeks ago, all hotels in its path filled up a long time ago, so I will be sleeping in a tent for the next two nights. On the way home I'll visit family, so not sure exactly when I'll be back home - maybe Wednesday or Thursday.
I'll bring my laptop, but may have little or no internet access for much of this time. Please allow extra time for games that I am in. For games that I'm moderating, the three-day time-limit will be extended (only) for the time a player is waiting for a board update.
Btw, a thread about the eclipse is (here). Superman0101 might see it from the west coast, and I hope to see it from near the Tennessee/North Carolina area (in the mountains).
