I think I will name the rookie tournament the "New Dog Tournament".
Old Dog tournament!
Here is the bracket for the old-dog tournament. Anyone please reply if anything needs clarification.

Although I did the graphic, JohnHS is leading the tournament, and he will make rules specific for the tournament.
I think this tournament should also have a rule that all games need to have been played at least once before being allowed (not just the piece, but the game including starting positions).
I think this is (or will be) a rule for games to be rated, and also helps make sure there is nothing ambiguous in the rules.
@JohnHS: let me know what you think.
How about Dwarf and Witch with Bulldogs?
I'm not sure if those three pieces have ever been used together in a game. Or have they?
If they've never been used with a specific set-up I don't think the game will be considered as rated.
My preferred games are "witch and guard", or "hunter and guard". There is also just "classic bulldog" which has bulldogs at the corners:

Let's see what John says (post above) and then we can decide.
I added flags to the bracket above.
JohnHS: I'm not sure on the exact system for Swiss-pairings. Does the top player in each pairing play White, or is the bottom player considered lower-rated so they get White?
OK, we can play with witch and guard.
That's fine with me. I'm supposed to start a 4-player game of infinite chess this Friday (also with Naviary, McGoohan and HolographWars).
How about we start our game on Saturday (July 7)?![]()

You are a rookie? Interesting... Well you have not played a single game for a long, long time.
The second statement is right
@vickalan, I alternated between higher and lower rated players getting white. Horus, like to start our game (if I can find a mod)?
I’ll start my game on the 13th? If that’s ok for my opponent? Friday the 13th
