Spherical Chess!

Have you ever thought about implementing such a version of chess? 

It seems to me that it would be very easy and interesting doing so.

It is easy to do it because we can play it in a convencional board! We just need to "glue mentally" the columns a and h in such a way that the pieces can pass from one to another of them, like in the following examples:

Be careful! If you play 1.b3 e5?? as black, then your queen is hanging: 2.Bxd8!!

1.Nh6+! and the black rook is hanging...

Rd1 and ...Rd8 are perfectly legal moves:

It would be very nice to have spherical chess in chess.com! What do you think?

WOE. That's crazy looking, I'd love to try it out if they added it. And where can I get one of those chess globes?
