Tournament Summary - Chess on an Infinite Plane

Not that there's anything wrong with the current setup, but what would you guys think about a more compact (safer) setup. I also added the archbishop (moves like bishop + knight).
That's not a bad idea. I like the guards behind the king and queen. It preserves the traditional formation between rook and rook, and yet adds more pieces (good to help with mating potential). Would you play it with or without the jäger units (hawk formations)? I have enjoyed games with the hawks, and watching them too. It's also a fun cross-over piece because they're used in Musketeer games too.
If you want to play a game, I'll play against you. But I might need to start later. I'm in too many games right now!

It's so fun to watch all these games, but sorry - I have not had time to post a news update. Very briefly:
A win by @PixelByPixel against me was already announced.
Also:
@vickalan wins a game against @hitthepin.
@captaintugwash wins a game against @hitthepin.
@hitthepin wins a game against @aidanB1.
@captaintugwash wins a game against @PixelByPixel (Today)!!
This means both PixelByPixel and captaintugwash are tier-3 players (won a game against opponent who also had a victory). So they will both be eligible to issue a challenge against the future World Champion (in progress: @SuperSam1 vs. @vickalan). Captiantugwash currently has priority to play first (if he chooses) because he has more wins (a better score).

Also, @Martin0 has also started a worksheet to calculate player elo scores for Infinite Chess games too! To see the (external website) chart visit (here). Here is screenshot of the chart:
Big thanks to Martin0 for producing this worksheet!

You guys are welcome
I don't really want to get into playing infinite chess right now, mostly because I don't have time for everything in the world. I'll focus on being an admin for 4 player chess club, my event chess variant and some bulldog games.
I'll probably get into chess on an infinite plane at some point, but it will probably be several months from now. No promises other than me occasionally updating my spreadsheet.

You gain 50 rating points when you win against someone with the same rating as you. So naturally, an unrated player (1200) winning against another unrated player (1200) will get a 1250 rating.
An unrated player winning against another unrated player is a quite common case. In fact, all rated players except cobra91 and PixelByPixel has had a 1250 rating (they won against rated players above 1200 rating for their first rating gain).

You're going have to add me sometime @Martin0! Not to be pushy, though. Take your time. @AidenB1 and I are almost finished. Also, it's going to be hard to get to 1600 since there are only about 8,500 rating points in "circulation" currently. When @AidenB1 and I are done, there will be about 10,900 in circulation.
