Waterloo is not for the clowns from Fidel's house. This is a hard game for daredevils!

D_Clarke

I just wish http://chess-checkers-go.blogspot.com going to be like this

https://pychess-variants.herokuapp.com/ you can have a look that is very easy to do that happy.png

Alas!

You don't understand what you say, what you do or undo. And there is a great danger to English culture and to Europe at all. It's quite natural that Morning Star did not write anything about Waterloo chess, but it's a shame to The Times.

Goodbye Northern Wizard
and diplomatic reason.
Long leave forever
happy Mr. Clever!

Don't look for pictures in a Moscow's bookshop. They are here on this chess forum!

D_Clarke

with all due respect,  i can't understand your language or maybe barking up the wrong tree. just remind you i am profoundly deaf and yes it is hard for me to understand what you are saying.

i have tried but thank you for trying to help. i stick to reading books.

If you don't like poetry you can't understand me. An symbolic sense is quite different from the literal meaning of the words and the sentences.

Gentlemen! I remember being asked by the world's best chess manufacturer. How many people play Waterloo? We're few but each of our players is a hero. Therefore, if you decided to start a new tournament, please post the tournament's titel and list of players with the open registration terms. This is very important for the history of chess. If you are really heroes, do everything like heroes. Good Luck!

@icositetrachoron and I started a game (here). It's not in a tournament. Icositetrachoron is using the Musketeer board-painter to do the graphics which I really like a lot.happy.png

It's strange that your opponent doesn't use Chinese pieces. I know that the Chinese are great patriots.

IvanKosintsev

The Free Chess Society supports and protects the individuality of each player. This means that chess pieces can have any fair interpretation. For example, you can play Waterloo by classical Dai shogi 大将棋 pieces with appropriate rules. This chess variant is called Cook's chess or 華棋.

Quadro schach und dame fit for Waterloo!

BattleChessGN18

Why not? You should create that version. =)

By the way, Vickalan and I are still playing a nearly 5-year-old Waterloo match; that was started back in December, 2016. This was when the 5th edition was released. =)

Nice for you to know that your variant still attracts positive attention; and garnishes fans. Yes? =)

(Match is still going on here.)

Your design is great and impressive. It's American brand Magic Waterloo.

But I couldn't understand why the American government and young people ignore the chess of space era opened by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

BattleChessGN18

Well, thank you. I appreciate it.

But, you've seen this design before. Several of times. tongue.png

Masterpieces can be watched endlessly, and this is the main reason for the popularity of chess. themes.png
