How do I make someone else the owner of a chess.com club?

I "inherited" a club when the Owner of the club (and co-SA with me) left the group (and maybe chess.com). I was only SA to help them with the club. I would like to leave the club, so I promoted an Admin to SA thinking that if I left, then the new SA would become the club owner. However, I get a message saying I can't leave the club if I am still the owner.

How do I make someone else (that SA) owner of the chess.com club?

Go to members menu, click on the action drop-down menu (Only on a Super Admin's option) and search for an option called "Make owner". I got this from another similar thread. Don't know if it works. Just check it once

xD Yes, this has happened to me a few times too. Sometimes I'll log on and get a notification I'm now SA of a club and I playfully throw my hands up in the air. I didn't even. want. the job.

Kind of funny though; I guess I'm honored people think this highly of me, but a lot of the time too these promotions just happen because the Owner wants to leave the club, so they just pass it off to someone else.

I was made super admin of a club where I was the first member

I was the oldest member of a club when the owner's account was closed for a fair play violation.  However, I am guessing because I was inactive in the club, a more active member was promoted to new owner.

Forget being an owner

I'm thankful that I'm not getting kicked out of these clubs XD

So u hate ur club and are jealous of not being the owner make ur own group

I already gave the "owner" to someone else.

It isn't that I "hate" the club - it is just that I only joined to help my friend grow their club and now that they are no longer active in it, I have no purpose being there. With all due respect to the club we helped build, my time is better spent elsewhere on chess.com...or even off chess.com for that matter. I was needed at the time (and served my purpose), but now other places need me more.
