2025 Chess.com Crazyhouse Championship: Official Discussion Thread
I participated in the “Join Us in Goa – Chance to Win an All-Expenses Paid Trip to Goa for the FIDE World Cup 2025” tournament in the 800–1399 rating section. I played 11 games and won 8, but in two of my games, there was a serious time issue — my clock started at only about 50 seconds, while my opponent had 3 minutes. I lost both of those games because of this, which feels very unfair in such an important event . I kindly request that you review these games and check for a technical or server error. This issue really affected my final standing, and I’m quite upset because I played very well. Thank you for your time and for organizing such a wonderful tournament.

The 2025 Crazyhouse Championship is the next Chess.com Community Championship, taking place November 6-7, featuring a $2,500 prize fund, and beautifully crazy attacks.
Crazyhouse is one of the oldest variants on Chess.com. It is similar to Bughouse but for single players. When a player captures a piece, that piece is added to the player's "bank" and can be used later as part of the player's own army. This dynamic allows for beautiful sacrifices since taking the initiative can be decisive.
The event is open for all members and kicks off November 6, with all eight qualifiers happening throughout the day. These are 75-minute arenas with a 3+0 time control. Each arena winner advances to the double-elimination knockout Final on November 7 with live broadcast.
As usual, we may require participants to join a video call for fair play checks. Players who join the fair play call must set up two cameras from different angles in the room. Non-compliance will result in a player's removal from the event.
Watch the live Final broadcast on our ChessTV, Twitch and YouTube channels.
