2025 October Opening of the Month Community Vote

Hope you're enjoying the Four Knights Game (:
It is time for us all to pick the October opening, to be featured in both the Rapid Opening Roulette and our Official Thematic Daily Chess Tournaments set to start late next month.

From this poll onward, we're simplifying opening choices from 8 to 4. This allows more relevance for each choice, and for us to structure choices in a meaningful way. Here's how we structured the October Opening of the Month choices:

Runner up from previous OOTM poll
Top suggested from previous OOTM poll comments (one opening per member)
Random pick from most popular openings
Most played (Move 3+ and not yet featured) in recent event (FIDE Grand Swiss)

We'll be checking and testing these to see which ones make sense to keep or let go. As always, feel free to share your feedback and ideas in the survey comments in addition to suggesting an opening you'd like to support for the next month voting.
