What is sad is there are actually Islamic people on chess.com, so the amount of non-islmics who voted no is actually less than 18%, and the number that voted yes is more than 65%.
65% of people on chess.com are Islamophobic

I voted yes as I am in support of anyone that chooses to protest authoritarian laws, even those in Muslim majority countries. Your premise that Islamophobia the only reason someone could be in support of a chess player protesting laws requiring someone to wear a hijab is completely illogical.
By the way, I am curious, why do you think there is a connection between thinking that being forced to wear a hijab is unacceptable and being islamophobic?
Raise your hand if you are not surprised by the fact that the user who wrote this thread is a Hillary fanboy.

Fixed.

It is against my human rights to force me to wear 'certain clothes'. That does not make me Islamophobic like the title of this forum says. You better not put words into our mouths, with all respect

agreed, thier country their laws
if you don't like it, don't play in it
That's literally what she is doing by protesting it

I would write something refuting what you said, but I am not doing it because you are that kind of user who wants to be a troll and only manages to ashame himself. Please leave trolling for the pros
I am still floored by whoever picked the venue for the tournament. This is like having a PETA meeting to grab lunch at a BBQ place. You can do it, but its just soooo wrong.
Islam. Is that the religion that worships some guy who raped children, enslaved people, and killed those that wouldn't worship him? Is that what the quran says about him? Hmm.
There are over 100 verses in the Koran calling for war on nonbelievers. 5:33 is one example.

You may have a point, but 5:33 is a pretty bad example, considering it is talking about the punishment for waging war against God/the Prophet and spreading evil/corruption through the land. Some might try to argue that practicing a religion other than Islam is waging war against God or spreading evil/corruption, but it is pretty clear from the context of the other verses (ie the one right before it prohibiting murder of a peaceful person) that it refers to violent, terroristic acts not simply practicing another religion.
