Am I only one thinking that chess.com is strange

Hi all, I have played on chess.com and cancelled my account 2025 and will never go back and Pay again. I will play and research but not as a paying member. The reason for this is that it´s such a strange thing with chess.com that I am either paranoid or there is something else going on on chess.com. You can call me paranoid, Idiot or whatever, but here´s my thoughts.

Cut to the chase I tried to sandbag the s*it out of chess.com being 1400 some years ago and tried to go down as much as I could. What happened was I went down to around 450 and yes, what a surprise opponents were playing so well that it was crazy, Jesus Christ so fishy everything was, It was so obvious that there were something strange going on. Same response to the same opening and like are the using an engine, As expected got a warning, and chess.com slapped my hand and I got my rating back with just a warning thank you chess.com, A kiss on the cheek 😊

What the F* I said to myself I am not a good player but C´mon trying to improve like everybody else, but this was my eye opening regarding how the situation were at chess.com. What is going on, something is really strange.

From 1400 to 450? something is so fishy, when you play many games especially sandbagging you see some patterns and it’s just strange that you can’t explain, you just feel and see that something is odd.

I tried to lose today, (my first game in long time haven’t been playing at all this year) and tried to test/see and feel how everything would fold out to be after not playing for a long, long time on chess.com, and this happens.

My first game blitz and this happens: Why just not take the queen on H5? You have been playing good in previous games but hell no the queen is not good.

You can understand my frustration regarding this game, but something is fishy about chess.com. Look at the moves opponent makes. Does not take the queen in the opening which is so open to be taken and then makes such a tactical good move later into the game, doesn’t make any sense.

What do I know, paranoid maybe, suspicion yes, call me whatever but I am sure that sandbagging showed me some proof of the things that smell little fishy.

Hmm. Why didn't white take on h5? Who knows?

Why did you put it there in the first place?

And why did white see rook sac on g6 but Not the follow-up mate in 2 ?

Who knows?

There we go again, conspiracy theories. Fantastic. C'mon, I am seriously stating something but you are just so fast refusing even to understand the bigger issue that I´m bringing up. You are asking the question to a question instead to try to answer and try to understand what I´m trying to bring up. yes, who knows, I don't know but again, my experience through sandbagging is that there is a system in play at chess.com witch neither of us can explain.

This I can not prove but sandbagging is my proof and to be honest it´s strange that so many people are so defensive about my statement and never acknowledge it but instead mainly are against it, isn't it also little strange wink.png If you play Scandi and not take the queen in this position, well, something is off.,

But it's not proof. It just your observation based on your limited experience.

Perhaps your opponent premoved his moves and never got a chance to react to your queen move.

You lost all credibility in your second paragraph when you said you were sandbagging. I didn't read the rest.

Your opponent had evidently played that exact position 50 times. Nobody ever put their queen en prix except you.

I think 4 Be2 was probably just a premove.

Never mind the games. You used to pay for chess.com? Did you get some other type of non-chess related enjoyment from paying them? Not judging, just asking. I'm sure we've all seen Danny Rensch play and would have fallen head over heals for his opening lines and exquisite moves.
