Auto resign crap

I was playing a 15+10 game and was getting low on time, somewhere around 6 minutes. Then, it said I would Auto resign in 2 minutes, forcing me to make a move when I'm not even ready to. This is a terrible system as I needed more time that move and I had the time but the system was gonna Auto regisn me. I ended up losing that game angry about the Auto resign. I think this is to stop stalling or time wasting but I was thinking and unfairly had to move faster than I expected..... Very bad system

You must have lost your connection during your long think. Otherwise, you could have sat there until your time ran out.

hey as soon as I played a move the Auto resign timer went away, I also thought it was internet at first buy realized its because I'm not moving for a long time

The long move timer only works in the first 10 moves of a game.

Yeah... I played this 15|10 game with this guy who was winning (positionally), but then he allowed a tactic that wins at least a piece. He had 10 mins left, and I just had to sit there for 10 minutes while his timer ticked down. After the game it said I won on time.
